stone care
FAQ
When cleaning natural stones like marble, limestone, and onyx, you can't reach for your regular cleaners like white vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or abrasive cleansers. These cleaners are too acidic/ aggressive for natural stone and can damage or etch the surface.
You can use it on white or light colored stones to safely disinfect the surface without any damage. On dark colored stones though we suggest to clean with lacquer thinner or acetone.
A stain is due to material that penetrates into the stone to cause a color change. For example, coffee may produce a brown stain on light colored marble or granite. Etch marks are caused by acidic materials or hard water deposits that marks the stone white or dulls the stone surface. This is caused by fruit juice, soda, vinegar, acidic cleaners, and urine on marble, limestone and travertine.
